Happy holidays, everyone! I wish everyone a happy, enjoyable & safe holiday season. I got what I wanted, how about you? =)
I've been at Le Cheateau for about 1.5 years now & it just keeps getting better. Not only do I love my job & what I do, but what makes it worth it is the people whom I work with. I couldn't have asked for a better staff & great managers who watch out & care for one another. They made my Christmas (eve) very memorable.
This afternoon we exchanged presents with our secret Santa's. Adrianna was my secret Santa & what I had in store for her (which was nicely wrapped in gold & pink) was....

& last but not least.. my DIY studded hat...

Awhile back, Fashion Toast had posted a picture of one of the studded hats she wore in a blog post. & Than I remembered! Ever since I started working with Adrianna, I've come to notice that her liking for hats & studded-anything is just about the same as my fancy for shoes. So there you go- I whipped a DIY studded hat for her made by yours truly.
What you will need:
- Old/new beanie hat
- Pliers
- Pyramid studs (I searched for mine on Ebay & got 100 pieces for about $5.00 shipped)

1. Get your beanie hat, a stud & your pliers. Try to keep your studs away from your beanie & pliers, because if you're messy & clumsy like me, you'll have a frustrating time picking each stud up piece-by-piece if you drop it or somehow knock them all down.

2. Take one stud & pinch it onto the middle on the very top of the hat with your pliers. This helps to know "which direction" you're going with it, especially if you're a perfectionist like me & would like to have all the studs aligned.

3. Now, with the first stud that you have just pinched onto the top, have it folded more onto one side & from there, pinch more studs going down (of course, you can put as many as you want on. My studs are about 1.5in. away from each other)
4. Once you're done with that, take the stud at the very top (the first stud you pinched) & fold it onto on another side that is empty & continue studding until finished
End result: A studded hat as a gift for Adrianna equals a happy Adrianna =).
